A new campaign is coming

A year ago, the care sector came together in Westminster to say clearly that social care cannot continue to be overlooked.

It was a seminal moment that showed how powerful a united sector voice can be – and how important it is that we work together to secure the positive change our teams and the people we support deserve.

What started as a grassroots show of unity has grown into a strong, united community.

More people have joined the conversation. More voices have spoken up about the value of care to families and communities across the country.

We’re now planning to launch a bigger, more powerful campaign, using professional support to help drive activity across the media, with politicians, and online.

We will be united around a common ask and have a clear, positive and empowering message that makes sure the nation hears how important the care sector is.

In the coming weeks, we will be sharing more details on how you can get involved in the campaign and make your voice heard in Westminster.

This will be unlike anything the care sector has ever done before. We’re excited, and we hope you are too.

Join the mailing list to be the first to hear how you can get involved and make this the moment the sector truly unites and delivers change.

Our Vision

Social Care and Support is essential. So are we.

“A future where social care is financially stable, the whole workforce is valued with fair pay, and our services are recognised as essential to society.”

We are carers, workers, leaders, and families.

We are the backbone of care.

And we’re not going anywhere.

We represent a vital network serving over 1.2 million people and employing 1.59 million professionals—the invisible infrastructure behind our communities and the NHS. Together, we deliver essential care services valued at £68.1 billion.

Decades of underfunding and broken promises have pushed providers to the edge. But we are not standing by – we are standing together.

Providers Unite is a grassroots coalition uniting community care and support providers across the UK to demand urgent action and protect our sector from collapse.
